As she watches her grandmother become trapped within the very mind that once built their shared history, identity and time become lost in translation. Yet, through the silence of this fading landscape, a traditional maternal lullaby emerges as an unbreakable bridge, translating a lifetime of love into a lingering, indestructible peace.

When their pet lizard escapes into the shadowy alleys of Old Riyadh, two contrasting best friends venture into the night, right into the path of the legendary Palm Tree Witch.
About the Film:
Inspired by the classic Saudi folklore of "The Palm Tree Witch" (أم السعف والليف) a story told by elders to keep children from wandering after dark; The Palm Witch blends local myth with a heartwarming tale of friendship.
When their pet lizard slips away into the quiet night of Old Riyadh, the two friends embark on a late-night rescue mission. But as fear and differing instincts force them apart, the shadows of the old city come alive. The film explores youth, the anxiety of separation, and the bond that ultimately brings friends back together.
